WHAT IS AN INSURANCE BROKER?

A person/company/insurance expert that arranges insurance with an insurer on your behalf.

There’s also the reassurance that you’re getting the best protection for you, because we’ll make sure of it. Insurance brokers really are the best.

How do you make your money?

As much as we love what we do, we of course still need to get paid.
 
So… we make our money from commission earned for helping insurers sell their products; and sometimes there might be a set fee on top too. 
But that doesn’t mean we’ll always use the same company – a great broker like us will always listen to you and find the right insurer for your needs.
 

Do you specialise in insurance for businesses?

Yes – we handle all aspects of commercial insurance. 
In fact, we’d say we’re experts in this area of insurance. We can sort out all your commercial insurance needs…buildings, contents, public and employers liability, professional indemnity and more.
 

Can I trust your insurance partners?

Yes, we work with A rated insurers (on the very rare occasion, and depending on your risk, we might have to look elsewhere, but we will always talk through this option with you). We take this very seriously and are proud of our reputation.
 
Not wishing to name drop (well maybe a little) we work with the most credible and highest quality names out there. You’ll probably recognise some of them Allianz, Aviva, AXA, RSA, Hiscox and more.
 

How do I know you have the ‘know how’ to get the right insurance for me?

LMR has over 10yrs commercial insurance experience under their belt. You’d probably use the words insurance expert/ guru/genius to explain our Laura (and her team) – plus she’s super nice and will get to know you and what you need first.
 
We sell a variety of standard and non-standard policies, along with personal insurance, such as home and travel so whatever you’re after we’d had experience of selling, handling and finding it for our clients.
 

Who do I talk to after my insurance contract begins?

What’s great about using us as your broker, is that you get a dedicated account handler form the start and a direct line to us to ask us any questions regarding your policy, any alterations and of course renewal. You’ll bypass the lengthy phone queues and endless options too.
 
If, however, you need to make a claim you will need to talk to the dedicated claims team – but don’t worry they are lovely too and we’ll always be on hand if you have any concerns.

When it comes to choosing a broker or insurance provider, ask yourself…
 
Can you trust them? Be confident that you can trust your broker to offer you the best premium, with the right level of cover and ongoing support, whether it’s growing your business or keeping your personal insurance up to date.
